How We Make Recommendations
A useful recommendation starts with the job: commercial deck work, fishing, boating, rain errands, cold weather, sizing, care, or replacement. From there we check height, outsole, warmth, safety features, fit risk, and retailer availability.
We separate current product details from background material. Readers should verify model names, construction, country of origin, safety features, pricing, and availability on the current manufacturer or retailer listing.
We do not claim hands-on testing unless we actually performed and documented that testing. When a page is research-based, we say so.
What We Avoid
We avoid stale exact prices, fake testing language, unsupported durability claims, vague deal language, and anything that makes X-Tough look like the official XTRATUF site.
