Keep splashes out
Ankle boots give you enclosed coverage in a pull-on shape. Waterproof Kiata sneakers offer a lower, lace-up option. For more splash coverage, compare the uninsulated tall boots too. Water can still enter over any opening.
XTRATUF boating collection
A summer day on the water can mean fishing at dawn, a wet boat ramp, or lunch back at the marina. Explore XTRATUF deck boots, water shoes and sandals, then find the style that fits your plans.
Start with your day on the water
Start with how wet you expect your feet to get. Waterproof deck boots keep splashes out below the opening. Drainage shoes let water pass through when getting wet is part of the day. Low deck shoes and sandals offer other shapes for time aboard and ashore.
Warm weather does not make every trip a sandal day. You may still want enclosed toes or a taller boot for fishing and washdowns. A waterproof boot may be more coverage than you want for a dry afternoon at the marina. Choose the coverage and fastening you need, then compare the individual styles.
Match the footwear to your plans
These distinctions explain the filters below. Product construction and water-handling details come from XTRATUF’s listings; fit and temperature comfort vary by person.

Riptide, Hightide, Spindrift and Sport DriftTech use drainage openings or mesh to let water escape. Your feet will get wet. Hightide’s ankle shape does not make it waterproof, and DriftTech differs from waterproof Sport.
Compare lace-up and slip-on deck shoes for a lower profile. A water-resistant upper is not a waterproof seal. Sandals, slides and open-back styles leave more of the foot exposed; choose them when that coverage suits your plans.

Before you order
Open a model to compare its colors and sizing, then check the retailer’s current stock and return terms. Men’s, women’s and unisex sizing are separate choices; a familiar shoe size does not guarantee the same fit across models.
For molded Riptide, Hightide and Après Fish slides, XTRATUF advises hand cleaning with lukewarm water. Wear, store and air-dry them in moderate temperatures: high heat or cold can cause shrinkage and warping. Do not put them in a washing machine or dishwasher. The BioLite guide explains those care limits.
